Marsha Friedman - Public Relations

Marsha Friedman is a 20-year public relations veteran and the CEO of EMSI Public Relations. Coming from a successful marketing background in the financial services industry, Marsha launched EMSI in 1990 with a unique Pay-for-Performance model representing experts, professional firms and corporations in almost every field imaginable:  natural health, business, finance, fitness, consumer products, sports, politics, entertainment and more, arranging interviews on talk radio shows around the country, appearances on local and national TV, and obtaining editorial coverage in newspapers and magazines. 

She brought together a phenomenal team of PR professionals that works together as a well-oiled machine.  Each month they chart more than 200 radio interviews for their clients, as well as at least a dozen TV segments, plus tens of millions in circulation/impressions in editorial coverage in newspapers and magazines.

Understanding that a book is the new business card in America, Marsha authored Celebritize Yourself: The Three-Step Method to Increase Your Visibility and Explode Your Business, which has received rave reviews from many successful professionals.  Marketing expert and best-selling author, Al Ries, called the book “…a sure-fire formula for success!”

Additionally, Marsha has been giving back to the community that has served her. A mother of three and a grandmother who also is raising one of her grandchildren, she is the founder of a nonprofit organization called Cherish the Children Foundation. In 1996, the White House recognized her charity, which sets out to raise awareness of the plight of underprivileged and foster children.

Marsha also consults individuals and businesses on a daily basis and is frequently asked to speak at conferences about how to harness the power of publicity.  She brings to TEM her principle for success:  it’s about caring and helping others. “My passion is to help people succeed, and I thoroughly enjoy using my expertise in PR to help my clients achieve their goals.”  She brings this same passion to TEM’s clients toward the achievement of their goals.
